Professional Career

Waterloo, Ontario is the home to Shopify Plus' head office where I currently work with some of Shopify's highest volume merchants. As a Merchant Success Manager, I act as our merchants' in-house consultant on all things Ecommerce in order to help them scale and grow.

The 2017 Black Friday weekend saw over $1 billion in transactions put through the Shopify platform - as a trend that is set to continue to grow, I'm extremely excited to be part of Canada's number one employer and this industry as a whole. Personal Life

When I said I was sports obsessed, I wasn't lying - from 2002-2015 I represented New Zealand in competitive tournament water skiing. My best international finishes to date were 9th at the Under 21 Worlds in Chile (2008) and 15th Overall at the 2011 World Championships (Russia).

In mid 2016, my wife and I uprooted from the comfort of our own home in Auckland, New Zealand to chase the big lights of North America. While running a business with a good friend of mine back home, we used Shopify as our Ecommerce platform; this proved invaluable, along with my previous professional experience, and helped land me my current position at Shopify Plus.

I'm obsessed with all things Ecommerce, sports, politics and more. Rather than keeping a boring diary, my personal blog acts as an outlet for me to share all of these experiences with the world. Enjoy!
